From the Secretary
Running an institution well is, in the end, about a thousand small things done with care — the timetable that runs on time, the hostel that feels safe, the teacher who notices a struggling student. Through my years leading TPS DAV Public School, I have learned that these details are what make an education trustworthy.
I bring that same attention to Sorojini Sarangi Nursing College. My commitment to you as Secretary is operational: that our faculty are qualified and supported, that our campus and hostel are safe and well-run, and that every student's day-to-day wellbeing is looked after as if she were our own.
A nursing college carries a special responsibility. Most of our students will be young women, many living away from home for the first time. We take their safety, their comfort and their dignity with the seriousness it deserves.
I look forward to welcoming you, and to making sure that the years you spend with us are as supported and secure as they are demanding.
