The ANM curriculum centres on community health nursing, maternal and child health, midwifery and primary care, with practical training in health centres and the community. The detailed subject list will be published here.
Training emphasises community and primary-health settings alongside hospital postings at our partner institutions, reflecting the frontline role ANM nurses play.
ANM graduates serve as auxiliary nurse midwives in primary health centres, sub-centres and community health programmes — the backbone of rural and public health — and can progress to GNM and beyond.
Applications for the 2026 session are open from 1 June to 31 August 2026.
